No. Copilot respects existing Microsoft 365 permissions. That's exactly why permissions need reviewing first: anything a user can technically open, Copilot can summarise for them.
Do we need Microsoft Purview?
Sensitivity labels are part of Microsoft Purview and are included in some Microsoft 365 plans. We'll check what your licences include and recommend only what you need.
